Civil War: What were the differences between North and South in the Civil War?

Could someone help me compare and contrast the North and South in the civil war?

The industrial North was founded. The south is based on agriculture. The Government Canada began to gain too much power and wanted all the cotton grown in the south treated in the north, the south can get better prices abroad (England). The South did not like being told what to do and I have tried to succeed. Civil war erupted in over the right to succeed from the union. For the first year or two, civil war has nothing to do with slavery. In fact, many officers of the North has publicly said they would call a temporary truce to help put down any rebellion of slaves. However, the war is not going well if the federal government made the Emancipation Proclamation freeing the slaves. The North was industrialized. Once they began to produce larger quantities of better quality of artillery, the war turned in favor Norths. You will need references better than some anonymous chick on Y! A, though.
