What are the features of a home should be considered Art Deco?

I am not talking about theater Novelty and public buildings, etc., just to build houses is common during this period or inspired by that period. I suspected they had these big square decorative ceilings, but there is nothing that specifically marks a house like Art Deco? I say things like cornices, decorative ceiling types etc. – this kind of functionality.

I do not think there was an architectural style known under the name Art Deco, but certain characteristics that might be. Above all, it applies to decorative effects, household goods and furniture. But do not take my word as gospel.
