Do you think the Great Pyrenees would not do well in New Mexico because of its fluffy?
I want a Great Pyrenees, but it seems he better in cold weather. I begin to doubt get one. It would be really upsetting if my dream dog was miserable weather in New Mexico. Yeah, I live in Albuquerque, it is in the middle of NM.
I live in Texas and Newfoundlands … and it's hot here too one would Pyrenees well in Mexico, if your planning on this being a house dog. My gentle giant is a house dog, he does go out, but is back in the house, day and night, how you take care of the dog that counts. Like a dog yard, no would not do well, dog house would be nice ….. in air conditioning … Newfies, Pyrenees, St. Bernard, have two coats to keep warm and cold, however, the dog should never be left in extreme heat never ….. Even if the dress not isolate them, this is not the best thing to do is mainly to isolate the cold, that these races are the use of weather norhtern, not the heat of the south ….. I run with my dogs every year, they are beautiful …. you just know how to handle giant breeds in all conditions Weather ..
