The World of Chaos Theory, and Art in the new poetry Michael Dickel and Art Collection

Poetry Michael Dickel defies characterization easy. The art in his new book, The world behind her, Chaos, including photography and digital art, moves like poetry between the lyrical and surreal. While his poems are also politically biased, visual art seems less inclined to the mundane. With sound and pictures poems and the colors and textures of the photographs, both his poetry and convergence of art on the erotic. This book is not an art book, only and this is not a book of poetry only. It is both art and poetry, exploding off the page in the reader. No test or examination can fully capture the tension and complementarity of work Dickel soon be available from wv? eBook Press.

This book of poetry, photography and digital art has its own world of chaos and order, while no fractals appear as part of the artwork, there is a sense of chaos theory here as long as the disorder that is often behind the screen for our life, or just under the surface of our humanity / Civilization. Although this e-book makes use of the computer, words and images do not feel like something from a computer, layout of the book provides a unique juxtaposition of image and text that feels more like art than technology, despite the online format (I read the book in Adobe Acrobat-PDF-format, but it will be published in Flash and Flash format projector).

Few books, whether printed or e-books, in some bookstores, will experience these poems and art supply. Michael Dickel began this collection in the high dose of breath as inspiration in the form of a deer jumps in his way. It ends, however, with the stormy sea, carrying the cityscape, the collapse of history into the shapes of skyscrapers turning to sand under the force of waves. But curiously, the poetry leaves us with a sense of hope, love, of human possibilities in the field spiritual. The last poem in the form of a nightmare, this more than a warning of what happens if we do not take into account our own better natures.

The publication of this book the theory that the publication of press releases eBook publisher as wv? eBook releases, to make available books that otherwise would be too expensive to release. Color photos, high quality, high cost of printing. This poetry book is available free-that's right is a free ebook. Although it would be nice, probably because Dickel receive money for his book, he chose to have readers / viewers first.

Some of this art and poetry has a deep intellectual quality combined with spirituality. A Photo may seem a bit mysterious, and sometimes turn a photo from something painted (Labyrinth 1-3). A landscape is mysterious, coated with different seasons at the same time (fall). This is not a poem, poems Dickel, trying to reach the cubist aesthetic, taking the words of one party in a different order in the second, and the lines of the first part re-arranged in the third party. The first word each line of the first section, with some modifications, is organized by order (the line from first to last) to form the first line of the second section, then the second word are the second line, and so on. The first line of the first stanza of the first section is the first line of the first stanza the third section, but is then followed by the first line of the next stanza, and so on. Dickel, in this manner conveys the Cubist sense of three dimensions in a flat table. Michael Dickel use to form the stems of the aesthetics of painting and sculpture here, as far as the classical poetry.

Yet, sound, image, rhythm, play a role in his writing. Like the fact (with variations), at least one traditional form, the sestina. The sestina six stanzas of six lines. The word at the end of each line is repeated in each stanza, but in a different order. Poem Dickel, the Sestina, responds to poem by Elizabeth Bishop's of the same name. And, in addition to the usual pattern, it places the six words of his Sestina (or similar words) in the middle of his lines, turning in the same pattern.

This is obviously not, as with the cubist form this is not a poem, which goes through the moving words in a quasi-mathematical (these are its fractal chaos theory?) mode requires attention from the reader to be noticed. The flow of poems, Sestina of the lyrics make sense and not sounding repetitive as they change direction in their dance across the page. The same thing with the cubist form, while each section contains the same words (or less), as the three dimensions of space, their reading does not clear up this player is time to study the craft behind the poem. Over there is a sense of abstraction, but also coherence, language, sound sense. These poems, such as photographs and digital art that accompany them, do not openly reveal a trade that is both real and innovative.

The rituals media review poetry and art, painting rituals, rituals of writing poetry all come to this, to I think the world behind it, Chaos: Michael Dickel is a poet and artist worth paying attention to, worthy of note reading dollars. His innovations challenge a reader who wants to dive, but his work is also a reader who wants to understand. And the cost of this book is perfect free.

More poetry published previously Michael Dickel, as well as photos and art, can be viewed on its website. Although this collection of poetry and art provides a representation coherent voice and styles of Dickel, her title = "Michael Dickel Home Page"> web site offers a great way to browse the work a poet and artist, we should all pay more attention. The book is available from the eBook Publisher arm of why vandalism? Journal of art and poetry, wv? eBook Press.
