What is the best dog breed for my family?
We recently lost our Airedale, Piper, cancer. We would like to have another dog soon. We are open to adopting a shelter dog, or get a purebred. We have 3 children, ages 6, 4 and 8 months. We have many dogs training experience and wants a race that is sized less than 50 lbs, smart, friendly yet protective, and not energy intensive. We give our dogs a walk everyday and have partially closed, but small courtyard. What breed should we consider?
